the good old brooklyn bridge

whenever i'm on vacation, it's already a given that i will be waking up at 4:00am to be shooting by sunrise. yet i almost always refuse to do the same thing when i'm home in new york. so when i finally got my booty out of bed (and lydia's) before the crack of dawn for this shoot, i was pretty proud of myself! last time i braved the early wakeup call for the bridge was almost a year and a half ago but because it was during the winter, the sunrise wasn't at as quite a painful time. and sidebar, i still love that skirt i wore and cannot wait to wear it again for the holidays!

for this year's brooklyn bridge shoot, i decided to finally share the dress i wore to andrea's wedding back in june and to this date that was the best wedding i had ever been to. hands. down. i had purchased this dress months prior in anticipation for wearing it to the wedding of the year but struggled deciding between either the long or the short version. as much as i love wearing gowns, i felt as if the midi option was more appropriate for the black tie optional dress code...and that way i could show off my fun shoes!
