fan girl
this past week has been hectic to say the least. there were so many emotions with the election that a mini break was much needed. working the wednesday after the election in nyc was eerie and depressing. it was such a quiet city and i will never forget the feeling i had. but, as obama mentioned, the sun rose in the morning and we began to move on.
on a little more of an exciting note: i was finally able to reveal my dress that i wore to the dia gala on saturday's snapchat and instragram stories...did you catch it!? it will be on the blog shortly but i truly felt like a princess and didn't want to take it off! it was a short 36-hour trip back home to michigan but it was time to head back to nyc on the first flight out sunday morning...at 6 am. that part wasn't as fun so i decided to make it easy (for my parents) and stay at the hotel at the airport to roll out of bed in the morning. and, of course, i arrived to the airport hotel in true allie fashion...still in my gown.
yesterday ended up being an amazing day and i hope everyone has an amazing week as well!
