somewhere over the rainbow
i honestly can't believe it is almost easter! and for those of you who have been following along since the very beginning, that means we are inching toward my one-year anniversary of this blog! wait, what!? things have been so hectic and i never anticipated how challenging this was going to be with a full-time job (especially working in a retail environment). this week i have worked six days in a row and am getting a little mini vacation of four days - and boy do i need it!
when i have to work long stretches, i always love throwing on my original bow coat. many bow coats are now in my collection but this will always have a special place in my heart. for starters, the color is so ridiculous and bright that i can't help but be happy when i'm wearing it. as an added bonus, the color is so shocking that no taxi could miss me! this coat has also gone with so many of my outfits (see this post and this and this instagram...can you say throwback!?) that i really consider this a staple in my wardrobe!
i don't think i will ever get rid of this coat as it has become an emotional attachment at this point. when i bought these amazing ferragamo heels, i knew i was going to have to pair it the the brightness of the coat - because it's spring and i can't get away with wearing black all of the time haha. hopefully i can get many more wears out of it this spring!!
