lady and the lamps

i cannot believe it has nearly been two weeks since dana and i headed to los angeles for the veuve clicquot polo classic! this was the first time i ventured to this city on the west coast and truly didn't know what to expect. all i knew is that i need to stop at "the lampposts" and stuff my face at in-n-out burger. it was a short trip so time was limited but i made sure we carved out enough time to wake up at the crack of dawn to head over to the lacma where the posts are located. and don't worry...in-n-out burger was not long after!

i had high expectations for these lamps but i have to say, they look much better in pictures! there weren't as many as i thought but that didn't make them look any less magical. we even went back at night because i am trying to play around a little more with my photography. i was able to get the shot below of dana by using my tripod!
