20 hours in amsterdam

when planning my trip home from sweden, my route home was inevitably going to have a layover in amsterdam. instead of your typical few hour layover, i decided to extend the layover overnight and actually get a chance to walk around one of the cities that’s been on my list forever!

i booked a night at the pulitzer right in the heart of the city to be a part of the action…even if for a short amount of time. the hotel did have bikes available for rent but unfortunately i was late to the game and they were all reserved. there were a few bike rental spots nearby but i just decided to explore by foot. so i did what any good tourist would do if given a few hours: i went shopping! i explored all of the cute little shops in the area and i definitely didn’t have enough time. i made the best of my time picking up a few things here and there but it just me want to come back that much more!

after a quick photoshoot with emily along the canals, i had a quick dinner at jansz before heading back to the hotel for the evening. my visit to amsterdam was short and sweet and i can’t wait to go back again!
