best of the east: my favorite restaurants in the hamptons!
with new york now opening safely, i've been spending a lot time out in the hamptons to soak up the fresh air and space this summer. today i wanted to share some of my favorite spots to dine (while social distancing) at this summer to help plan a weekend away from the city!
breakfast
mary's marvelous: this east hampton spot is perfect for grabbing delicious to-go breakfast, smoothies and coffee to bring to the beach or back home.
john papas cafe: nothing beats a classic diner breakfast and this east hampton greek diner is a favorite for all-day breakfast (aka the best hangover cure).
the surf lodge: while this montauk hot spot can get crazy busy at night, i love coming here for a weekend brunch. enjoy your meal right on the water for safe outdoor dining.
goldberg's: bagels are never a bad idea, especially from this hampton's favorite spot!
tate's bake shop: when you're on vacation, cookies for breakfast is never a bad idea! make sure to grab tate's famous chocolate chip cookies while in town to satisfy your sweet tooth.
lunch
lunch aka the lobster roll: there's nothing more iconic than this red, white and blue spot to have a classic lobster roll and fries at! while the wait can get be long, it's always worth it!
duryea's lobster deck and seafood market: living off lobster is the motto while out east and this spot is known for having the best lobster rolls around.
navy beach: beachside dining is a must in the summer and navy beach is the ideal spot with their picnic tables right on the beach in montauk to enjoy classic seafood dishes.
dinner
almond: a favorite in nyc as well, this bridgehampton spot has some of the best market to table dishes, all with a french flair.
topping rose: for a special night out, this jean-georges restaurant uses fresh ingredients grown on the property's one acre farm and sourced from the area's best farmers and fisherman.
wolffer kitchen: a bottle of crisp wolffer rose and some oysters make for the ideal summer night out east! after an afternoon at their vineyard, come dine at their amagansett restaurant for dinner.
