butler's orchard // oh my gourd
calling all my basic girls!! fall is upon us which means bringing on anything and everything pumpkin. and yes, this includes being super adorable at pumpkin patches. during my trip back to dc, my close friends and i decided the best way to celebrate our (mostly my) favorite season was to go to a pumpkin patch. so we packed up my beaten down car that i drove down from nyc and our venti pumpkin spice lattes and headed an hour outside the district to butler's orchard.
we were immediately in heaven as we arrived to the smell of fresh cider and doughnuts galore. we pranced around the festival and even went through the corn maze - which was a little tricker than we had anticipated. getting to the pumpkin patch portion of the day, there was a separate parking lot so after filling up on food we headed to the second half of our day.
it was quite the scavenger hunt to find just the right pumpkins and i think we made out pretty well. i knew trying to display a full sized pumpkin in my shoebox of an apartment wouldn't be the greatest idea, i decided to pick up one of the mini ones to set on my desk.
i am so thankful that i have friends who are willing to put up with all of my basicness and do super cliché fall activities with me! i'm still bitter that they all still live in dc but i'll save that rant for another day.
