not so secret gardens
this summer has been nothing short of perfection! all of these amazing opportunities and events have come up that are making this summer one of the best yet! last weekend was no different when dana, mollie, and i decided to head out to the hamptons for the annual arf garden tour. it was our chance to see how the 0.0001% live. in preparation for this event, we packed up the vintage cars with plenty of rosé, snacks, and blt sandwiches and headed to the first house.
every house and garden we went to seemed better than the next - it may also have been the increase in alcohol intake but i am going to stick with the first option. some of these gardens had fields of lavender that would have put provence to shame.
i absolutely fell in love with the "quaint" home that had the rose gazebo in the back. we had so much fun at this house that we actually had to ditch the rest of the group...oh well! but photos obviously take priority.
after ditching the rest of the group, we were able to take our sweet time at the last home that say on the largest piece of property imaginable. it never seemed to end! i just wish i could find out how much it is worth...definitely the financier in me speaking. this garden had all of the bells and whistles including swings, hammocks, and benches overlooking the water. everything about this last garden emulated heaven.
i had so much fun twirling around the hamptons in this karen millen dress (now on sale!) but was so thankful i had my denim jacket to throw over my shoulders knowing they were going to get burned! be sure to check out my favorite mint-colored dresses below!
i had such an amazing time imagining what it would be like to live in these magical houses and this is definitely going to become an annual tradition! who is going to go with me next year!??
