after participating in new york's fashion week for a few seasons now, the glitz, glamour, and allure have worn off just slightly. but that doesn't mean i don't get giddy seeing new and fabulous designs come down the runway! this season, i had the amazing opportunity to attend the kate spade presentation and it's safe to say having worked for the company on and off since 2012 (and only recently leaving in october) it was literally a dream come true! i had never attended the presentation before and was like a kid in a candy store walking in. but attending my first kate spade presentation, i couldn't show up in just anything! i originally had planned on wearing this dress but after trying it on, it was just a little too much for me. so i opted for this fun shirtdress that was beyond comfortable! which came in handy because in addition to being in front of the camera for part of the day, i had to wear it behind the camera as well!

there was no shortage of "oos" and "ahhs" as i entered the incredible venue. the entire collection was inspired my nashville and after seeing it, i think i'm going to need to book a trip there as well! perfect western-inspired touches scattered the pieces and was far from overwhelming. i could completely see myself adding these pieces into my wardrobe this fall and having them blend right in! what were some of your favorite trends you saw this season?
