well first, oopsies! i know it’s the 26th and you’re all wondering, “why the heck is she posting this holiday content now!?” that’s a great question readers, haha! for the last week i have been on an adventure in africa and because i was told there would be wifi, i did not plan out my pre-christmas posts. unfortunately, upon arrival to my safari, i was in for a rude wake-up call when there was not only no wifi, but not even cell service!

11 days until christmas and holy crap i can’t wait!
honestly, that’s all i really wanted to say and show this outfit because i’m obsessed with this dress! haha it’s seriously so comfy (no pockets though but yolo) and i’ve already worn it to a few holiday occasions this month! oh yeah, and it has a slight stretch so go crazy and eat all the foods haha

with the surplus of bloggers and influencers now controlling newsfeeds everywhere, there will always be a standout few where i constantly draw inspiration from. one of those inspirations being none other than blair eadie (who coincidentally launched her collection at nordstrom in partnership with halogen yesterday!). at the beginning of august, while hiding from the sun in the hamptons with dana, blair popped up on my feed wearing this dress and dana and i instantly knew we both needed it! and i don’t think i need to mention how easy our decision was since the dress was $95. yup $95.
within seconds…okay fine, days…i started seeing this dress appear on my feed more and more and each time i fell more and more in love with it! it seemed that everyone from petites to plus were rocking this dress and putting their own spin it: essentially making this the sisterhood of the traveling dress!

i am fully aware that i keep saying this but i am so behind on my photos! especially now that my photography program is in full swing at icp, my free time for my own photos is basically non-existent at this point. so i’m finally able to feature one of my favorite and comfiest dresses of the summer! i wore this dress out east when i escaped the craziness of nyfw this season with ashley…oh yeah and it has pockets!

after my initial evening in positano and i recovered from my journey by sleeping for 12 hours, ashley and i were ready to hit the ground running! we fueled up for the day with an expansive breakfast spread at our hotel. we got one of everything and i didn't feel sorry about it!

happy monday everyone! i am so excited to continue sharing my posts and outfits from paris. during my trip, i was so thankful i packed this max mara dress because it was so comfortable to wear right when i landed! ...and because it isn't as acceptable to wear your pajamas in public like it is in the us. and if you have been following me on instagram/instastories, you know that i have been living in these boots since i bought them! seriously one of my best purchases of the year! stay tuned for more of my parisian adventures!

each morning during our explorations in santorini, we built up quite the appetite. and because we were out the door before the sun, we were able to make it back to the hotel before the end of breakfast...and the kirini had quite the setup! thankfully breakfast was included with our room but this wasn't just your classic continental breakfast; it was truly a feast! our second morning at the hotel, we decided to ditch the restaurant seating and sit up on one of the hotel's many landings overlooking oia. so we grabbed all of the food we could carry (and then some) and headed up the steps to have our breakfast with a side of oia.
